Common Questions

No. Our mock exams are open to any child preparing for the 11 Plus, regardless of where they are receiving tuition. Many families book our mock exams as a standalone service alongside their existing preparation.
This depends on the grammar schools your child is applying to. GL Assessment is used by most grammar schools in Essex, Kent, and some London boroughs. CEM is used by selective schools in some Midlands areas and a small number of others. If you are unsure, contact us and we will advise based on the schools on your list.
In most cases, marked papers and the written feedback report are available on the same day as the mock exam, or by the following morning. We will confirm the turnaround time when you book.
We recommend sitting at least two mock exams — one earlier in the preparation period to identify gaps and plan revision, and one closer to the real exam to check progress and build final confidence. Many families book three or four sessions across the summer.
Children should bring pencils, a rubber, and a ruler. All papers and answer sheets are provided. We also recommend bringing a bottle of water. Mobile phones should be left at home or given to a parent before the session begins.
